For the first time ever, Blackpool Pleasure Beach shut it’s doors to the public for a once-in-a-lifetime event. Cubs from all over the North-West Region were invited up to spend a day riding the rides, seeing the sites, having an adventure, and attempting to break a world record at the “Challenge 10000” event.
This is one of many fantastic events happening throughout the year as a part of the #cubs100 celebrations. For those of you who didn’t know already, 2016 marks the 100th anniversary of Cub Scouts, as well as the 30th Anniversary of Beavers, and the 80th Anniversary of our own group.
We sent a group of Cubs to enjoy the festivities, and even got featured by West Lancs Scouts County!
