We’d like to thank everyone who attended this year’s St George’s Day parade walking along the seafront in Morecambe to the Winter Gardens, where Lonsdale District Scouts held a short service and celebration of Scouting. As you may be aware, St George’s day is important to us as St George is the Patron Saint of Scouting, representing many of the qualities of a true Scout: Bravery, Integrity, Loyalty.
